Diane Bowman Mills is a NJ Certified Permanent Cosmetic Trainer with 7 years experience that will be leading the training. She has created a time-effective, comprehensive once a week, 12 week training program for completing your New Jersey Permanent Cosmetic Certification.
Each week, we will discuss and teach what we consider to be the most important facets of permanent cosmetics. From the introduction to the advanced; color theory to the hands on procedure, we will guide you through each step.
Classes will only contain 1-2 students per 12 week training session.

*New Jersey State Requirements are as follows:
Completion of a 100-hour training program
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) class
15 apprenticeship procedures (5 each of the following: Eyebrows/Eyeliner/Lips)
Pass the Board Certification Exam by AAM
Proof of liability insurance/Photograph of self

Week 1 - Introduction to Permanent Cosmetics/Micropigmentation
Week 2 - Set up/Sanitation
Week 3 - The Fundamentals of Mapping*/Freehanding for PMU
Week 4 - Skin Types/Fitzpatrick Scale
Week 5 - Types of Needles* (sizes, etc. and how/why to use them)
Week 6 - Color Theory (basic + advanced)
Week 7 - Hands On Practice with Micropigmentation Machine
Week 8 - Microblading*
Week 9-12 - Hands On application on live models
*Most other training facilities will charge extra for these trainings. We think its super important you feel comfortable once you’re certified to go out and pursue your career in confidence, so we offer this training within our basic course.
PLEASE NOTE: The 15 procedures required for your certification are done weeks 9,10.,11 & 12… You will need to perform these procedure in front of your certified instructor in order to complete your certification training.

*(We will supply you with a state of the art micropigmentation machine, the Xion Spektra, made by Microbeau along with the critical atom power supply, foot pedal and RCA cords as well as practice latex, mapping supplies, 6 bottles of pigment, microblades and practice sheets.)
